Unisex Aztec Mexican Old Sterling Link Bracelet-SOLD
This exceptional Mexican sterling bracelet is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. This bracelet is marked, “TC-105 Mexico, 925” for Victor Manuel Corsi Rodriguez. The “T” shows that he was a silver artisan from the great city known for its supreme silver jewelry, Taxco, Mexico. This design looks Aztec with perhaps a stylized classic pre-Columbian symbol of Quetzalcoatl, who was a Mesoamerican feathered serpent-god, on each link. The design stands out because of the dark patina on the indented background of each link. This bracelet is extremely well-crafted and is in very good vintage condition. The box closure closes with a strong, “snap”, and there is no damage that I can see. It has 6 links, each 5/8” X 1-3/8”. The overall length of the bracelet is approximately 8-1/4” long, and 8” wearable length. It weighs a substantial 41.5 grams.
